Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Servio platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access the platform or use any services.

2. User Accounts

To use most features of Servio, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. Servio reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide inaccurate or fraudulent information.

3. The Servio Marketplace

Servio acts as a marketplace to connect customers seeking services ("Customers") with independent professionals and businesses providing those services ("Vendors"). Servio does not employ Vendors nor do we directly provide the services. The contract for the provision of services is formed directly between the Customer and the Vendor.

4. Vendor Obligations

As a Vendor on Servio, you agree to:

  • Maintain all necessary licenses, permits, and authorizations required to perform your services in Nigeria.
  • Provide services with a high degree of professionalism, care, and skill.
  • Provide accurate quotes and adhere to the pricing agreed upon with the Customer.
  • Respond to leads and messages in a timely manner.

5. Customer Obligations

As a Customer on Servio, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate details regarding your service request, including location and scope of work.
  • Treat Vendors with respect and provide a safe environment if services are rendered at your premises.
  • Make timely payments for all completed services through the platform.

6. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through our authorized payment gateways (Paystack and Flutterwave). Customers agree to pay the amounts quoted and accepted for services.

Refunds are subject to Servio's dispute resolution process. If a Vendor fails to deliver the agreed-upon service, or the service falls significantly below marketplace standards, Customers may raise a dispute within 48 hours of service completion to request a refund.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not use the Servio platform to:

  • Submit fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
  • Attempt to bypass the Servio platform to arrange payments offline.
  • Distribute spam, viruses, or any other harmful code.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Servio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the platform; or (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the platform, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of Vendors or Customers.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Servio platform will be resolved through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Nigerian Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

10. Changes to Terms

Servio reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
